Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, block scheduling with trades allowed

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $73 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, expert care across labor, delivery, postpartum, and nursery settings
Independently manage patients through every stage of the birthing experience
Titrate critical drips including Pitocin, insulin, and magnesium sulfate with confidence
Support moms and babies during both routine and intermediate nursery needs
Collaborate seamlessly with your fellow nurses as each RN serves as backup for the team
Float and lend a helping hand across units when the census shifts
Jump between assignments with ease as the unit moves from quiet to bustling

Qualifications

Active Oregon RN license or eligibility for the 90-day emergency license
BLS and NRP certifications required
Strong experience in L&D, postpartum, routine nursery, and intermediate nursery
Ability to work independently across all areas of maternal-child care
Comfort with central fetal monitoring and reading maternal cardiac tele

Knowledge & Skills

AWHONN-aligned patient ratios and evidence-based practices
Central fetal monitoring and maternal cardiac telemetry interpretation
Titration of Pitocin, insulin, and magnesium sulfate drips
Stabilization and transfer of neonates using vent and bubble CPAP
Adaptability to a unit that can shift from calm to busy within a single shift
