Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM and 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM

Hours per Week: 48

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-acuity care to adult patients on a busy 40-bed Progressive Care Unit
Titrate cardiac and critical drips including Heparin, Nitro, Dopamine, Cardizem, Amiodarone, and insulin
Monitor and interpret telemetry strips while managing arterial lines and complex patient conditions
Collaborate with a supportive interdisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient experiences
Float to MedSurg or ICU as needed while maintaining PCU-level care standards
Champion patient safety and satisfaction by focusing on responsiveness, clear medication communication, and a healing environment

Qualifications

Active RN license and current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Competency managing arterial lines and titrating cardiac drips
Strong assessment skills and ability to read and interpret telemetry independently
Flexibility to work 48 hours per week on rotating day/night 12-hour shifts
Willingness to float to MedSurg or ICU and adapt to changing patient needs

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry monitoring and strip interpretation
Drip titration for cardiac and vasoactive medications
Arterial line management
Care of cardiac, vascular, sepsis, stroke, dialysis, and respiratory patients
Team collaboration and clear communication across diverse cultural populations
