Location: Garden City, KS

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM with 24/7 call coverage including weekends and holidays

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $102 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Lead and oversee both the Cath Lab and ICU departments with passion and purpose
Build a positive, supportive culture that empowers nursing staff to thrive
Enhance nursing competency through hands-on guidance and mentorship
Coordinate pre-procedure, recovery, and bedside procedure support with excellence
Manage staffing ratios and patient assignments to ensure safe, quality care
Float and provide helping hands across departments when needed
Monitor and support staff with telemetry, strip interpretation, and critical care skills

Qualifications

Active RN license in Kansas or compact license
Minimum 3 years of RN experience with at least 1 year in clinical leadership
1 year of management experience preferred
Current ACLS, BLS, RCIS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications
CRRT competency required
Fluoro license preferred for technical staff
Critical care and telemetry experience strongly valued

Knowledge & Skills

Strong leadership and team-building abilities
Expertise in vasoactive drips, sedation, and critical care protocols
Comfortable managing both elective and emergent cases
Skilled in reading and confirming telemetry strips
Experience with vents, CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen
Ability to support staff development and continuous learning
