Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM start with varying end times, plus call and float between campuses as needed

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $98 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist surgeons as the first assistant during a wide range of procedures
Provide expert support in ortho, robotics, neuro, GYN, urology, vascular, and general cases
Collaborate with the OR team to ensure smooth case flow and patient safety
Float between campuses when needed to keep operations running seamlessly
Respond to call within 30 minutes to support after-hours emergencies

Qualifications

Active RNFA license in California
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Strong experience in ortho, robotics, neuro, and GYN specialties
Comfortable scrubbing and first-assisting across multiple service lines

Knowledge & Skills

Robotics experience is a must-have skill
Familiarity with Cerner EMR
Ability to handle complex cases including totals, scopes, cranis, and robotic hysterectomies
Strong communication and adaptability when floating between sites
