Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to neuro post-surgical and stroke patients
Monitor and interpret EKGs while delivering expert telemetry nursing
Collaborate with charge nurses and clinical supervisors to ensure seamless patient outcomes
Maintain sterile field standards and support safe procedural practices
Educate and support patients and families through every step of recovery

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
Minimum 2 years of recent Neuro Telemetry experience within the last 6 months
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam within 48 hours of offer
Willingness to complete a sterile field competency on day one of orientation

Knowledge & Skills

Strong neuro telemetry and EKG interpretation skills
Comfortable with post-crani and post-TPA stroke patients
Excellent sterile technique and infection prevention practices
Ability to work collaboratively in a 28-bed neuro unit with 1:3-4 ratios
