End Date: 09-07-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM with varied start times between 8:30 AM - 10:30 AM and end times between 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM; may require a Saturday or Sunday shift with a day off during the week

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional physical therapy care across acute care units including MedSurg, Telemetry, ICU, Oncology, and Cardiology
Deliver hands-on therapy to ventilated patients and support their recovery journey
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create personalized treatment plans
Help patients regain mobility and independence after orthopedic surgeries and total joint replacements
Assess and treat a wide variety of patient populations with compassion and expertise
Document care accurately using Cerner EMR to ensure seamless communication

Qualifications

Active Physical Therapist license in California
Current BLS certification
Minimum 2 years of acute care physical therapy experience
Strong background in ortho, total joints, ICU, and ventilated patient care
Comfortable working with MedSurg, Oncology, and Cardiology populations
Cerner EMR experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Acute care physical therapy across multiple hospital units
Experience with ventilated patients and ICU therapy
Orthopedic and total joint rehabilitation expertise
Strong assessment and treatment planning skills
Ability to adapt quickly and work independently
Excellent communication and documentation abilities
