Location: Bakersfield, California

Start Date: 06-03-2026

End Date: 09-02-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8-hour day shifts with rotating weekday call after 4:30 PM, rotating weekends, and rotating holiday on-call

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform cardiac, SPECT, bone scan, bleed studies, and gastric emptying procedures
Operate GE imaging equipment to deliver high-quality diagnostic studies
Collaborate with radiologists and the care team to ensure accurate results
Float to Mercy Downtown campus when needed to support patient care
Maintain accurate documentation using Radnet and Merge Unity systems

Qualifications

Current CA NMTL license required
BLS certification required
At least 2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience
Comfortable working with GE equipment and performing a variety of studies

Knowledge & Skills

Nuclear Medicine procedures including SPECT and cardiac imaging
Strong attention to detail and patient care focus
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Familiarity with Radnet and Merge Unity systems
