Location: Baudette, Minnesota

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM and 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, every 3rd weekend and 3rd holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care across both MedSurg and ER settings
Admit, discharge, and transfer patients with attention to detail
Titrate critical drips including insulin, amiodarone, cardizem, and levophed
Start IVs and manage PICC lines and ports
Respond swiftly to codes for cardiorespiratory, stroke, and sepsis events
Participate in trauma response and stabilize patients for transfer
Read and document cardiac strips independently using Mindray monitors
Collaborate with hospitalists and work independently with minimal staffing

Qualifications

Active RN license in Minnesota or compact license
BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
Minimum one year of ER experience strongly preferred
Comfortable floating between MedSurg and Emergency Department
Experience with Meditech EMR a plus

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to work independently with minimal support staff
Proficiency in titrating multiple IV drips
Experience responding to trauma and emergency situations
Familiarity with EMTALA regulations and flight transport coordination
