Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Day and night shifts available, self-scheduling with balanced schedules, 3 weekends in a 6-week period, rotating holidays, call requirements based on census

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $75 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to laboring mothers and newborns in a supportive LDRP environment
Monitor fetal heart rates and respond to changes with confidence and expertise
Titrate critical drips including Pitocin, Magnesium, Insulin, and D10 to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Collaborate with a close-knit team to support high-BMI, diabetic, and substance-use patients with empathy
Float within Zone 1 when needed to support sister departments and maintain excellent care across the region

Qualifications

Active Colorado or compact nursing license
ACLS, NRP, AWHONN EFM, and STABLE certifications required
LDRP experience strongly preferred
Ability to read and interpret EFM strips independently
Willingness to take call and work rotating holidays

Knowledge & Skills

Strong fetal monitoring and EFM interpretation skills
Experience with OBIX system and bubble CPAP equipment
Comfortable titrating multiple IV drips simultaneously
Excellent communication and teamwork in a small-unit setting
Adaptable to floating within Zone 1 facilities when census is low
