Location: Omaha, Nebraska

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 8 and 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM or 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM, with 1-4 hour call after shifts weekly and weekend call every 5 weeks

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $50 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare operating rooms and ensure all equipment is ready for procedures
Assist surgeons during complex ortho, neuro, and robotic surgeries
Maintain sterile fields and support the surgical team throughout each case
Handle specialized instruments for trauma, GYN, ENT, and general surgeries
Collaborate with a skilled team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes

Qualifications

Active BLS certification required
CST certification preferred but not required
Strong experience in ortho, neuro, and robotics procedures
Driver's license required at time of submittal
Must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise with DaVinci Robot systems and O-arm imaging
Comfortable with neuro cases including craniotomies and shunts
Skilled in complex ortho procedures like total joints and ORIFs
Knowledge of general, GYN, ENT, and trauma surgeries
Strong attention to detail and sterile technique
