Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM + Call evenings and weekends. On call one evening a week (3:00 PM to 7:00 AM) and 2 Saturdays or Sundays a month (7:00 AM to 7:00 AM)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Circulate complex cardiovascular cases including CABGs and TCARS procedures
Support neurosurgical teams during craniotomies and spinal surgeries
Assist orthopedic surgeons with trauma cases and joint replacements using advanced robotics
Provide expert care across multiple specialties from general surgery to endoscopy
Precept and mentor fellow nurses as needed to strengthen the team
Float between Bryan and College Station campuses to support patient care needs

Qualifications

Active RN license in Texas or compact license
Minimum 4-5 years of hospital operating room experience
Proven robotics experience with DaVinci and Mako systems
Strong background circulating CABGs and craniotomies
Ability to respond to call within 30 minutes

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise circulating cardiovascular, neuro, ortho, and general surgery cases
Proficiency with both Mako and DaVinci robotic platforms
Strong assessment and critical thinking abilities
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Flexibility to adapt across multiple surgical specialties
