Roles & Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate outpatient surgical procedures for roughly 20 surgeons across multiple specialties, ensuring smooth patient flow
• Serve as the primary liaison between surgeons' offices, patients, anesthesia providers, and ASC clinical staff to keep everyone on the same page
• Manage schedule adjustments, cancellations, and same-day add-ons while optimizing room utilization and block time
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date scheduling data in the ASC scheduling system
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, CMS, AAAHC/Joint Commission standards and other regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with anesthesia and nursing leadership to optimize daily case volume and staffing
• Provide excellent customer service as the front-facing representative of the ASC and support administrative tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• Proven experience scheduling outpatient surgical procedures or similar case coordination (experience with multiple surgeons a plus)
• Strong customer service and communication skills for interacting with patients and clinical teams
• Comfortable managing same-day schedule changes, cancellations, and add-ons with sound judgment and calm under pressure
• Familiarity with ASC policies, block utilization practices, and scheduling systems
• Working knowledge of regulatory and accreditation expectations (HIPAA, CMS, AAAHC/Joint Commission)
• Ability to collaborate effectively with anesthesia and nursing leadership
