Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate care to mothers and newborns during labor and delivery
Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs with precision
Assist in safe deliveries and provide postpartum support
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes
Educate families on newborn care and recovery processes

Qualifications

Active RN license in Louisiana
Labor & Delivery nursing experience preferred
BLS and NRP certifications required
Strong clinical skills in maternal-fetal medicine

Education

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in obstetric procedures and emergency protocols
Proficiency with fetal monitoring equipment
Excellent communication for patient and family support
Quick thinking in high-stakes delivery scenarios
