Candidate Pay Rate: $44 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate respiratory care and treatments to patients in line with facility protocols
Perform respiratory assessments, monitor ventilators, and adjust therapies under physician orders
Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and the care team to develop and implement effective care plans
Document patient status, treatments, and responses accurately and timely
Participate in orientation and ongoing training to stay current with best practices
Ensure equipment is cleaned, maintained, and ready for safe patient use

Qualifications

Current Respiratory Therapist license valid in Missouri (required)
CRT or RRT credential preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; advanced certifications a plus
Comfortable working in acute care settings with strong clinical judgment
Excellent communication skills and a team-focused mindset
Ability to pass facility onboarding and background checks

Education

Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy or equivalent accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in airway management, oxygen therapy, and ventilator care
Able to interpret blood gases and adjust treatments accordingly
Proficient with respiratory equipment setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance
Strong patient assessment and documentation skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
