Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor telemetry patients, interpreting rhythms and trends accurately
• Administer medications and therapies safely and document care thoroughly
• Provide compassionate bedside care during night shifts for high-quality patient outcomes
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care plans
• Perform timely documentation, handoffs, and escalation when patient condition changes
• Float to other units as assigned while maintaining standards of care
• Complete required Prime exams, skills checklists, and competency assessments

Qualifications

• Active RN license with Nursys verification
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience (telemetry experience preferred)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• NIHSS and DCI/BVP certifications or the ability to obtain them prior to start
• Successful completion of Prime Basic Pharmacology, Specialty, Core Competencies, and Skills Checklist
• Required health screenings and immunizations (drug screen, TB/PPD, COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Hep B, Tdap, Varicella, annual flu, fit test)

Knowledge & Skills

• Telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm recognition
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking during night shifts
• Ability to float to different units and adapt quickly
• Accurate clinical documentation and effective communication with care teams
• Familiarity with hospital infection control and safety protocols
