Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert post-procedural nursing care for CHS and Med/Telemetry patients, prioritizing safety and comfort
• Assess patients frequently, monitor telemetry and vitals, and intervene promptly when conditions change
• Collaborate with physicians, techs and the interdisciplinary team to implement and adjust care plans
• Educate patients and families on post-procedure expectations, wound care and discharge instructions
• Accurately document assessments, interventions and patient responses in the medical record
• Support holiday and weekend coverage and assist with unit workflow during peak times

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Ohio (required)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA) (required)
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) for healthcare providers from the AHA (required)
• BSN or Certification in Nursing preferred; Magnet-recognized certifications are a plus
• Experience in post-procedural care and medical/telemetry nursing preferred

Education

• BSN preferred
• Active RN licensure in Ohio required

Knowledge & Skills

• Telemetry monitoring and interpretation
• Post-procedure assessment and recovery management
• IV therapy, medication administration and titration
• Strong clinical judgment, prioritization and triage skills
• Clear, compassionate communication with patients, families and the care team
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, rotating-shift environment
