Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM and 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-acuity care to adult patients on a busy 40-bed PCU unit
Monitor and interpret telemetry, manage titratable drips, and respond swiftly to changing patient conditions
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent outcomes for cardiac, vascular, renal, and respiratory patients
Float to Med-Surg or ICU when needed, adapting quickly to support unit goals
Champion patient experience by focusing on responsiveness, clear medication education, and a healing environment

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Competency managing arterial lines and titratable drips
Strong telemetry interpretation skills
Ability to arrive within 30 minutes if called in from on-call status

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry monitoring and strip interpretation
Titration of Heparin, Nitro, Dopamine, Cardizem, Amiodarone, and insulin
Arterial line management
High-flow oxygen systems
Patient education and clear communication
Flexibility to float and adapt to different patient populations
