Shift Type: Wednesday-Sunday, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM NOC

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate progressive care to patients with neuro and trauma needs
Monitor vital signs and perform neuro and spinal assessments to keep patients on the path to recovery
Manage chest tubes, PCA pumps, IV infusions, and lumbar drains with confidence and care
Collaborate with a dynamic team of nurses, CNAs, and charge nurses to provide top-notch care
Float to stepdown and med-surg units as needed, showcasing your versatility and expertise
Educate patients and families on procedures, recovery plans, and equipment use

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Carolina or compact state
Minimum 2 years of progressive care or related nursing experience
Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Experience with neuro and trauma care strongly preferred
Comfortable working with Cerner EMR and a variety of clinical equipment

Knowledge & Skills

Strong neuro and trauma assessment skills
Proficient with IV pumps, PCA pumps, chest tubes, and patient lifts
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Patient-focused mindset with a collaborative spirit
Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
