Shift Type: Wednesday-Sunday, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM NOC

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to step-down and med-surg patients
Monitor and manage patients requiring trach care and chest tubes
Administer cardiac drips and care for stable ventilated patients
Collaborate with a dynamic team of nurses and patient care technicians
Float to other med-surg and progressive care units as needed
Document patient care accurately using Cerner EMR

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Carolina or compact license
Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
Current ACLS and BLS certifications
Experience with trach care required
Cerner EMR experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical skills in progressive care and med-surg settings
Ability to manage patients with chest tubes and tracheostomies
Comfortable floating between units
Flexible and adaptable with a high level of clinical competence
