Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Sunday-Saturday, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM, 12-hour day shifts

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to a diverse mix of medical-surgical and step-down patients
Monitor patients using telemetry and respond promptly to changes in condition
Collaborate with charge nurses, CNAs, and the interdisciplinary team to deliver seamless care
Manage quick-turnover short-stay patients while maintaining excellent patient experience
Float to other units as needed to support hospital-wide patient care needs

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Carolina or compact license
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Telemetry competency and Progressive Care experience required
Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
Cerner EMR experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong telemetry monitoring and interpretation skills
Ability to care for mixed-acuity patients on a 20-bed unit
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Positive, patient-experience-focused attitude
Flexibility to float and adapt to changing unit needs
