Roles & Responsibilities

Provide professional nursing care to outpatient cardiology patients following established standards and best practices
Assist providers and clinic staff with patient assessments, procedures, and care coordination
Serve as the primary liaison between patients, providers, and clinical teams to ensure seamless care
Perform EKGs and monitor for cardiac arrhythmias, escalating concerns as appropriate
Administer and monitor cardiac medications and support cardiac procedures as directed
Document care accurately and participate in quality and safety initiatives to improve patient outcomes

Qualifications

Active Montana RN licensure required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
Basic coronary class required
Medical terminology knowledge and basic office/boarding skills
At least 2 years of cardiac nursing experience preferred

Education

Graduate of an accredited nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient with EKG interpretation and recognition of cardiac arrhythmias
Familiarity with cardiac medications and common cardiac procedures
Solid grounding in basic nursing principles and clinic workflows
Strong patient care coordination and communication skills
Comfortable working collaboratively with providers, coordinators, and clinical managers
