Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to neuro and cardiopulmonary telemetry patients
Monitor and interpret EKGs while delivering expert cardiac and neurological nursing care
Collaborate with hospitalists, charge nurses, and the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
Educate patients and families on conditions such as strokes, pulmonary issues, and cardiac telemetry needs
Respond promptly to changes in patient status and coordinate rapid interventions when needed

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
Minimum 2 years of recent telemetry or neuro experience within the past 6 months
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
Successful completion of Prophecy Dysrhythmia Exam (2 attempts maximum)
Ability to interpret EKGs and manage high-flow oxygen therapies

Knowledge & Skills

Strong EKG interpretation and cardiac monitoring skills
Experience with neuro and stroke patient populations
Comfortable with centralized telemetry and ventilator support equipment
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
