Roles & Responsibilities

• Monitor telemetry and cardiac rhythms continuously to keep patients safe
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias and escalate concerns via rapid response or code teams
• Provide skilled MS/Telemetry nursing including IV therapy, central/PICC care, and blood product administration
• Manage respiratory supports such as BiPAP/CPAP and High Flow Nasal Cannula
• Perform feeding tube care and coordinate nutritional needs
• Deliver wound care including Wound VAC management and post-op drain care
• Document accurately and efficiently in Epic to maintain clear, timely patient records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (PT, RT, pharmacy, social services) to drive positive outcomes
• Support trauma and neurosurgical patients with focused, evidence-based nursing care
• Maintain a culture of safety, infection control, and compassionate patient-centered care

Qualifications

• Current RN license (eligible to work in NC required; pending license not accepted)
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum experience: Preferred 2 years in MS/Telemetry (first-timers may be considered)
• Proven telemetry and cardiac monitoring skills with dysrhythmia interpretation
• Experience charting in Epic required
• Ability to float to like units within scope to meet facility needs
• Willingness to work night shift schedule and every other weekend
• Successful completion of orientation (approximately 360 hours) and facility onboarding

• Feeding tube management and safe enteral practices
• Blood product administration and transfusion monitoring
• BiPAP/CPAP and HFNC management
• Wound care and Wound VAC operation
• Proficient Epic charting and accurate clinical documentation
• Ability to care for orthopedic, neurosurgical, and trauma patients
• Strong communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced acute care setting
