Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care as a Registered Nurse on the MST
• Assess patients quickly and accurately to support timely clinical decisions
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and improve outcomes
• Administer medications and treatments safely and document thoroughly
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients, families, and colleagues
• Participate in unit safety practices, infection control, and clinical protocols

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license valid in California
• Experience or familiarity with MST workflows and protocols preferred
• Current BLS required; ACLS and other specialty certifications a plus
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Ability to work independently on per diem assignments and adapt quickly

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) — BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of nursing fundamentals and acute care practices
• Skilled in patient assessment, medication administration, and documentation
• Proficient with electronic medical records and charting best practices
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time during busy shifts
• Team-oriented with strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
• Familiarity with MST-specific procedures and rapid response workflows
