Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend and holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients on a 32-bed Med/Tele unit
Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret telemetry strips with confidence
Titrate cardiac drips including Amiodarone, Cardizem, Heparin, Nitro, Nipride, and Lasix
Deliver specialized care for cardiac caths, EP studies, pacemakers, and acute cardiac conditions
Collaborate with a supportive interdisciplinary team including charge nurses and patient care techs
Float to PCU, Med-Surg, and ER holds as a valued helping hand across the facility

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
PCU experience with the ability to read and interpret cardiac strips
Epic experience preferred but not required
Open to first-time travelers who meet the clinical requirements

Knowledge & Skills

Strong cardiac telemetry and rhythm interpretation skills
Experience with titratable drips and cardiac medications
Comfort managing BiPAP, trach, and Airvo equipment
Ability to care for patients with complex cardiac and medical histories
Flexibility to float and support various units as needed
