Roles & Responsibilities

Provide safe, patient-centered care on the Med/Surg unit with compassion and clinical expertise
Administer medications and treatments accurately and monitor patient responses
Assess and document patient status, changes, and interventions in the medical record
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care plans
Prioritize patient safety, escalate concerns, and advocate for timely interventions
Educate patients and families on condition management, discharge planning, and follow-up care

Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) — RN credential noted in the posting
Experience in Med/Surg nursing as listed in the job data
Comfort and ability to work 12.5-hour shifts
Strong communication skills and proven ability to work within a team-oriented environment

Knowledge & Skills

Patient assessment and clinical observation
Medication administration and IV therapy familiarity
Electronic health record (EHR) documentation
Prioritization, time management, and clinical decision-making
Effective teamwork and clear communication with patients and staff
