Location: Prescott Valley, Arizona

Start Date: 06-29-2026

End Date: 09-28-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to a diverse mix of medical, surgical, and telemetry patients
Interpret telemetry strips and respond quickly to cardiac changes
Collaborate with the care team to manage patients with conditions like COPD, pneumonia, post-surgical recovery, and more
Precept and mentor nursing students, helping shape the next generation of caregivers
Float to sister units including Multi-Care and Pediatrics when needed, expanding your skill set
Deliver patient-centered care while maintaining safety and infection-control standards

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of recent Med Surg experience, telemetry experience preferred
Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam with 80 percent or higher within two attempts
Willingness to care for both MST and PCU level patients

Knowledge & Skills

Strong telemetry interpretation and cardiac rhythm recognition
Comfort managing stable CPAP and BiPAP patients
Excellent assessment and critical-thinking skills
Ability to precept and support nursing students
Flexibility to float across multiple units and campuses
