Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Wednesday-Sunday, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 36 hours per week with every other weekend rotation

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to patients in Med Surg Telemetry and Emergency Room hold settings
Monitor patient conditions and respond quickly to changes in acuity
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver excellent outcomes
Support patients and families with clear communication and education
Maintain accurate documentation and uphold the highest safety standards

Qualifications

Active RN license in Connecticut or compact license
BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
Experience in Med Surg Telemetry or Emergency Room settings preferred
Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and every other weekend

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Comfort managing varied patient acuities including ED holds
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Proficiency with Trinity competency testing and skills checklists
