Shift Type: Wednesday-Sunday, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $51 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, high-quality care to medical-surgical patients on a 33-bed unit
Manage patient ratios of 6:1 during days and 7:1 at night with dedicated tech support
Administer medications and monitor IVs, Kangaroo pumps, and SCDs using Meditech documentation
Collaborate with a supportive team of unit secretaries and techs to ensure seamless patient experiences
Float in rotation to other appropriate areas when needed, broadening your clinical expertise

Qualifications

Active RN license in Tennessee or compact state
Minimum 2 years of recent Med Surg nursing experience
BLS certification required
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to work every other weekend and adapt to floating assignments

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient with Meditech electronic documentation
Comfortable managing IV therapy and patient monitoring equipment
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Flexible and adaptable to changing patient needs and unit demands
