Shift Type: Wednesday-Sunday, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM NOC

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $75 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to laboring mothers and newborns in a rural community hospital
Triage patients and serve as the primary baby catcher and transition nurse
Titrate Pitocin drips to support safe labor progression
Collaborate with on-call providers to ensure excellent outcomes for moms and babies
Support postpartum recovery and newborn care with a hands-on, team-based approach

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
Current ALS, NRP, and AWHONN EFM certifications
At least 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience with LDRP training
Comfortable functioning independently in a small, rural setting

Knowledge & Skills

Strong LDRP and triage skills
Experience with Pitocin titration
Ability to serve as both labor nurse and baby catcher
Flexible and adaptable in a low-volume, high-impact environment
