Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care that makes a real difference
Perform thorough assessments and document findings accurately in the chart
Administer medications and treatments safely and in line with facility policies
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate excellent care
Educate patients and families to support recovery and positive outcomes
Maintain infection control standards and promote a safe environment

Qualifications

Registered Nurse (core requirement for the role)
Active RN license for New York recommended; be prepared to provide licensure details
Current basic life support (BLS) certification or willing to obtain
Strong clinical judgment and the ability to prioritize patient needs
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Education

Nursing diploma, ADN, or BSN

Knowledge & Skills

Patient assessment and monitoring
Medication administration and safe documentation
Electronic medical record documentation
Care planning and patient/family education
Infection prevention and safety protocols
Teamwork, time management, and clear clinical communication
