Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Self-scheduling with 3 weekend shifts in a 4-week schedule, Nightshift weekends are Friday - Saturday, Dayshift are Saturday - Sunday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert critical care nursing to trauma, neuro, and surgical ICU patients
Titrate life-saving medications including Propofol, Levophed, Vasopressin, and more
Interpret cardiac rhythms and respond swiftly to patient changes
Collaborate with intensivists and respiratory therapists for optimal patient outcomes
Float between sister ICUs to support the broader critical care team
Deliver compassionate care to patients recovering from complex surgeries and trauma

Qualifications

Active RN license with 3 years of recent ICU experience required
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Experience with neuro or cardiovascular ICU patients preferred
Ability to pass UNA Dysrhythmia Exam and Sim Lab on Day 1
Comfortable floating between multiple ICU units as needed

Knowledge & Skills

ICU nursing with drip titration expertise
Dysrhythmia interpretation and cardiac monitoring
Trauma, neuro, and cardiovascular critical care
Ventilator management and advanced respiratory support
Strong assessment and rapid response skills
