Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered critical care to adult ICU patients
• Assess, monitor and document patient status, trends and responses to interventions
• Manage complex therapies and equipment typical in the ICU setting
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists and the care team to optimize outcomes
• Administer medications and titrate infusions safely and accurately
• Educate patients and families with empathy and clear communication
• Participate in shift handoffs and maintain accurate, timely documentation

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) credential required
• ICU clinical experience (position lists 2+ years experience)
• Ability to begin a 13-week travel assignment starting 04/27/2026
• Current ability to work in North Carolina (appropriate state RN license or ability to obtain)
• Comfort working in a fast-paced critical care environment and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong critical care assessment and patient-monitoring skills
• Familiarity with ICU equipment and complex medication administration
• Effective clinical judgment and prioritization under pressure
• Clear, compassionate communication with patients, families and colleagues
• Teamwork, adaptability and a commitment to evidence-based practice
