Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate basic patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
Support nursing staff by observing and reporting changes in patient condition
Assist with safe patient transfers and mobility as directed
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care and observations
Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and staff
Participate in orientation and ongoing training to maintain high-quality care

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (Georgia certification preferred)
Active registration or ability to register with the state as required
Ability to pass background checks and any facility-required screenings
Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-centered attitude
Willingness to attend required orientation prior to starting shifts

Education

High school diploma or equivalent recommended
Current CNA certification (required)

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care and hygiene assistance
Taking and recording vital signs accurately
Understanding of infection control and safe handling procedures
Clear documentation and handoff communication
Teamwork and the ability to follow care plans
