Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality bedside nursing care during the evening shift, prioritizing patient safety and comfort
• Perform timely assessments and implement care plans with critical thinking and compassion
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care and improve outcomes
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and handoffs to ensure continuity of care
• Respond to emergencies using BLS skills and follow established protocols
• Support unit goals by participating in competency testing and ongoing professional development

Qualifications

• BLS certification required
• License/Certificate Verification as applicable for role
• Successful completion of Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Trinity Skills Checklist
• Must pass required pre-employment screenings: Fit Test, Trinity Color Vision, Trinity 10 Panel Drug Screen
• Required immunizations and screenings: 2 Step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot), MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, COVID-19 vaccine, Influenza vaccine
• Ability to work the posted evening schedule, every other weekend, and one of the upcoming holidays

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant nursing degree or certification preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient assessment and clinical decision-making skills
• Clear communication and teamwork across disciplines
• Infection control best practices and adherence to screening requirements
• Time management and prioritization during busy evening shifts
• Competency with unit-specific procedures as verified by Trinity checklists
