Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality emergency nursing care to patients across all acuity levels
• Collaborate with a dynamic team in a fast-paced Level 2 trauma and comprehensive stroke center
• Maintain accurate patient documentation using Cerner electronic health records
• Deliver patient-centered care using AIDET communication and real-time feedback
• Support patients and families through every stage of their emergency visit
• Float within all sections of the Emergency Department as needed

Qualifications

• Active RN license with 2+ years of nursing experience including at least 1 year in an ER setting
• Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS certifications required before start date
• ENPC certification required within 90 days of hire
• Experience in a Level 2 trauma center and high-volume ED preferred
• Previous HCA experience is a plus
• Strong teamwork mentality and ability to give real-time coaching and feedback

Knowledge & Skills

• Cerner documentation system proficiency
• Baxter pumps and GE monitors operation
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and patient experience focus
• Flexibility to work in all areas of the Emergency Department
• Commitment to respectful, culturally sensitive care
