Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Rotating 12.5-hour shifts (schedule varies; exact start/end times set by facility), ED/ER coverage

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $48 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care in the emergency department
Triage, assess, and prioritize patients quickly and accurately
Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments safely and according to protocol
Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and the care team to develop and implement patient plans
Perform timely, accurate documentation in the patient record and handoffs
Respond to emergent situations with strong clinical skills and calm decision-making
Educate patients and families about condition, treatment, and discharge instructions

Qualifications

Current and unrestricted RN license (able to practice in New Hampshire)
Experience in Emergency Department / ED/ER nursing preferred
Current BLS required; ACLS preferred or willing to obtain
Strong assessment, critical thinking, and prioritization skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Triage and emergency nursing care principles
IV therapy, medication administration, and emergency procedures
Familiarity with common ED equipment and monitoring
Accurate documentation and charting best practices
Strong communication and teamwork skills under pressure
