Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered occupational therapy evaluations and create individualized treatment plans
• Deliver evidence-based interventions to improve activities of daily living, mobility, cognition, and functional independence
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and optimize patient outcomes
• Document progress and outcomes thoroughly and timely in the patient record
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic strategies, adaptive equipment, and home safety
• Adapt treatments based on patient response and clinical best practices to maximize recovery

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) or eligible for Montana licensure
• Degree in Occupational Therapy (Master’s or Doctorate) and current NBCOT certification preferred
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification as required by facility
• Comfortable working day shifts and meeting a guaranteed 36-hour workweek
• Strong interpersonal and documentation skills, with a patient-first attitude
• Willingness to complete required onboarding quickly for a fast start

Education

• Master’s or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy required

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in functional assessments, ADL training, and adaptive equipment recommendations
• Proficient in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
• Familiar with documentation standards and electronic medical records
• Ability to collaborate effectively with nurses, PTs, SLPs, and case managers
• Strong clinical reasoning, time management, and patient education skills
