Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform routine clinical laboratory testing accurately and efficiently
• Process and prepare specimens following established protocols
• Maintain quality control, document results, and escalate abnormalities
• Participate in Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and checklists
• Verify licenses and certifications as part of regulatory compliance
• Support patient safety through required vaccinations and health screenings
• Collaborate with laboratory and clinical teams to ensure timely results

Qualifications

• Current Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) certification or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Ability to complete Trinity Skills Checklist and Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing
• License/certificate verification completed and in good standing
• Up-to-date immunizations and health screenings (COVID-19, MMR, Hep B, Influenza, Varicella, 2-step PPD or IGRA, fit test, physical/health statement)
• Successful completion of Trinity 10 Panel Drug Screen and color vision testing

Education

• Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or equivalent certification preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of clinical laboratory procedures and specimen handling
• Familiarity with quality control and documentation practices
• Comfort performing competency testing and following checklists
• Good communication and teamwork skills in a clinical setting
• Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
