Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform screening mammography exams with precision to support early detection of breast cancer
• Operate and maintain mammography equipment following safety and technical protocols
• Ensure high image quality by adhering to ACR and MQSA standards and thorough documentation
• Deliver compassionate patient care, prioritizing comfort, privacy, and clear communication
• Participate in mammography quality assurance activities and continuous improvement efforts
• Collaborate with radiologists and the care team to facilitate accurate, timely diagnostic workflows
• Maintain compliance with state licensure requirements and institutional policies

Qualifications

• ARRT certification with advanced mammography credentials (required)
• Washington State Radiologic Technologist licensure (required)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (required)
• Experience with mammography quality assurance and adherence to ACR/MQSA standards
• Strong patient communication skills and a commitment to patient safety and comfort

• Screening mammography techniques and image acquisition
• Mammography equipment operation and troubleshooting
• ACR and MQSA standards for image quality and documentation
• Patient safety, positioning, and compassionate patient interactions
• Mammography quality assurance processes
