Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents and patients
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Monitor patient condition and report changes promptly to the care team
• Document assessments, interventions, and responses in the medical record
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and support staff to deliver coordinated care
• Educate patients and families with clear, respectful communication
• Advocate for patient needs and contribute to a positive care environment

Qualifications

• Current, active LPN license in Pennsylvania (required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification (current or obtain upon hire)
• Completion of an accredited practical nursing program
• Clinical nursing experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply and learn
• Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude
• Ability to pass facility background checks and health screenings

Education

• Completion of an accredited LPN / practical nursing program
• High school diploma or GED

Knowledge & Skills

• Foundational nursing skills including medication administration and vital sign monitoring
• Basic wound care and infection control practices
• Comfortable with patient documentation and electronic medical records
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a busy clinical setting
• Strong interpersonal skills for patient and family interactions
• Reliable time management and attention to detail
