Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist and supervise day-to-day nursing activities to ensure safe, consistent patient care
• Implement rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices to support resident independence
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and facility policies
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing and interdisciplinary team to maintain high quality care
• Provide direct patient supervision, assessment, and documentation during your tour of duty
• Support patient safety initiatives and participate in care planning and handoffs

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in the state of Colorado (required)
• Current BLS certification (required)
• IV certification preferred for LPNs
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or comparable institution
• Training or experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong skills in rehabilitative and restorative nursing techniques
• Experience in long-term care and skilled nursing facility workflows
• Ability to supervise patients and support nursing staff effectively
• Familiarity with regulatory standards for long-term care facilities
• Good clinical documentation, communication, and teamwork skills
