Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to patients in accordance with facility standards
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Monitor and document patient status, reporting changes to the care team
Collaborate with RNs, providers, and support staff to deliver coordinated care
Support patient education and discharge planning to promote positive outcomes
Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and follow facility policies

Qualifications

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential — active and in good standing
Current basic life support (BLS/CPR) certification or willingness to obtain
Comfort working 12.5-hour shifts as scheduled
Strong communication and teamwork skills with a patient-centered approach
Ability to meet facility immunization and onboarding requirements

Education

Completion of an accredited LPN/LVN program; high school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

Solid fundamentals of clinical assessment and patient observation
Medication administration and basic IV/route familiarity as required by unit policy
Charting and documentation best practices
Infection control, safety standards, and patient advocacy
Time management and prioritization in a busy clinical environment
