Shift Type: Saturday-Wednesday, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $51 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate psychiatric care to patients in a correctional healthcare setting
Monitor and document patient behavior, vital signs, and medication responses
Assist with therapeutic interventions and crisis de-escalation
Collaborate with nursing and medical staff to support individualized treatment plans
Ensure a safe and supportive environment for patients and staff

Qualifications

Current California LPT license required
Experience in psychiatric or behavioral health settings preferred
Strong communication and de-escalation skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Knowledge & Skills

Psychiatric patient care and safety protocols
Medication administration and monitoring
Crisis intervention techniques
Electronic health record documentation
Team collaboration and communication
