Contract Type: Per-Diem

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate bedside care and daily living assistance to patients
Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
Monitor patient status, recognize changes, and escalate concerns promptly
Document care thoroughly and maintain clear, timely patient records
Collaborate with nurses, providers, and support staff to deliver coordinated care
Educate patients and families about care plans and discharge instructions
Support infection control and safety practices to protect patients and coworkers

Qualifications

Valid LPN license in Pennsylvania (required)
Completion of an accredited LPN/LVN program
Current BLS/CPR certification or ability to obtain upon hire
Previous LPN experience preferred but new grads with strong clinical skills are welcome
Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-centered attitude

Education

Completion of an accredited LPN/LVN program
High school diploma or GED

Knowledge & Skills

Clinical assessment and basic nursing procedures
Medication administration and safe documentation
Wound care and basic ADL assistance
Comfort with electronic charting/EMR systems
Time management, prioritization, and teamwork
