Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Variable days, 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM Night (per diem)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $33 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during night shifts
- Perform thorough assessments and document clinical findings accurately
- Administer medications and treatments safely and according to policy
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care
- Monitor patients’ status and escalate changes to the appropriate provider
- Support discharge planning and patient education with clear communication
Qualifications
- Current, active LPN or RN license (New Mexico licensure preferred)
- BLS/CPR certification required (or willingness to obtain)
- Comfortable working night shifts and adaptable to per-diem scheduling
- Strong clinical assessment, medication administration, and documentation skills
- Professional, reliable, and able to collaborate within a care team
Education
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program (LPN) or associate/BSN nursing program (RN)
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient assessment and monitoring
- Medication administration and safety
- Accurate clinical documentation and charting
- Infection control and standard precautions
- Effective communication with patients, families, and clinical teams
