Shift Type: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (day/evening shift)

Candidate Pay Rate: $40 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide direct, compassionate patient care consistent with LPN scope of practice
Administer medications and document administration accurately
Monitor and record patient vital signs and changes in condition
Perform routine procedures such as dressing changes and basic wound care
Collaborate with RNs, providers and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
Maintain clear, timely electronic charting and handoffs
Educate patients and families on care plans, medications and post-discharge instructions
Escalate clinical concerns promptly to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes

Qualifications

Valid LPN license (practical nurse) — required
Ability to work the scheduled evenings: Sunday–Wednesday, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Local candidates only (as noted in the job details)
Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly with patients, families and team members

Education

Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program or equivalent certification

Knowledge & Skills

Patient assessment and hands-on nursing care
Medication administration and basic pharmacology knowledge
Charting in electronic medical records and attention to documentation detail
Infection control practices and safe patient handling
Strong communication, teamwork and time-management skills
Ability to prioritize and respond quickly in a busy clinical environment
