Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to pediatric clinic patients within the scope of LPN licensure
Take and accurately record vital signs and perform focused patient assessments
Triage patient calls and determine appropriate next steps with professionalism and calm
Process prescription refills and complete prior authorization paperwork to keep care uninterrupted
Serve as a primary liaison between patients, clinical staff, and providers to ensure smooth care coordination
Direct and delegate tasks to CNAs and schedulers while supporting team workflow and patient safety
Collaborate with providers, coordinators, clinical managers, and RNs to support patient-centered care

Qualifications

Current State LPN license required
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Comfortable triaging calls, handling prescription refills, and completing prior authorizations
Proven ability to delegate to CNAs and work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams
Adherence to state and federal continuing education and licensure requirements

Education

Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program (LPN)

Knowledge & Skills

Patient assessment and pediatric care basics
Vital signs measurement and documentation
Clinical triage and telephone triage protocols
Familiarity with prescription refill workflows and prior authorization processes
Basic Life Support (BLS) competency
Team communication and delegation to CNAs
