Licensed Practical Nurse

Location: Lancaster, PA

Start Date: 04-27-2026

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 8-hour shifts, specific start/end times and days to be determined by facility (schedule to be confirmed during interview)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care with clinical accuracy and attention
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and document appropriately
Monitor patient status, report changes, and collaborate with the care team to ensure safe outcomes
Assist with daily living activities while promoting patient dignity and comfort
Maintain clear, timely charting and communicate effectively with patients and families
Support unit efficiency by participating in handoffs, safety checks, and team huddles

Qualifications

Active LPN license (or ability to obtain) — ready to practice with confidence
Completion of an accredited practical nursing program
Basic life support (BLS) certification required or obtain upon hire
Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
Previous clinical experience preferred but new grads with solid training are welcome to apply

Education

Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program (or equivalent)

Knowledge & Skills

Fundamental nursing assessment and documentation skills
Medication administration and familiarity with common nursing procedures
Ability to prioritize, multitask, and stay calm under pressure
Compassionate patient interaction and strong interpersonal skills
Basic charting skills and comfort with electronic health records
