Roles & Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to understand clients’ strengths, challenges, and needs — you’ll be the detective and the healer.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based approaches to support meaningful client progress.
• Provide individual and family therapy across the lifespan, addressing depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use, and adjustment disorders.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions and monitor outcomes, adjusting care plans as needed for best results.
• Collaborate closely with primary care providers, nurses, and the integrated care team to ensure coordinated, whole-person care.
• Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with professional standards and organizational policies.
• Advocate for underserved and rural populations, connecting clients with community resources and supports to improve access and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active LISW license in Iowa (required) — you must be licensed to provide independent clinical care.
• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program (MSW) — the academic foundation you need.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience preferred working with individuals and families in behavioral health.
• Experience in rural or medically underserved settings is a strong plus — we love clinicians who thrive in community-focused care.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and clinical documentation skills — clarity and collaboration matter here.

Education

• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program

• Psychosocial assessment and treatment planning expertise
• Evidence-based therapeutic interventions (individual and family therapy)
• Clinical documentation and electronic health record familiarity
• Integrated care collaboration with primary care and nursing teams
